Im sure Gigabyte has compatable motherboards. Just look them up at newegg and go to the makers website from there to see.

Ya its hard to find a lga 775 motherboard with your needs. They dont make many for regular DDR and pci express 16x.

yeah thanks guys
i was hoping to salvage some components from tis system i am using but with pci-express the reason for that is so that
1) i can upgrade to a way better GFX card
2) i can also run a SATAII host controler card

my gigabyte board at the moment supports sata but not sata II i do alot of dvd burning and editing both my 120G ide hard drives are just about full
i have been looking for host controller cards that are SATAII compatable that run on pci but so far i have had no luck the only ones that allow the 3.00GB/s are pci-express
if anybody here noes where i could get 1 it would save all the bother of getting a new motherboard,

or is the reason why i cant seem to find a pci card becuase the transfer rate of pci is to slow for SATAII and it would defeat the purpose?

anyhelp is really apreciated thank you

ATX is bigger while micro ATX is smaller.

Barebone pc's are I believe when they give all the parts, but you build it. Basically, they give you all you need but without assembly.
