these pop up ads are driving me batty. i try to ignore them but sometimes there are so many they will cause my pc to freeze and i can't shut down. i hate turning it off with the button i know it is not good but when this happens i have no choice. by the way i gave your link to a couple of friends who are very interested in helping to keep this site running. i just got back to work and as soon as i get a full pay check i plan to make a donation. thank you <_<

well your log file looks clean, so i dont believe its anything on your computer that is causing the pop-ups. I'll check with admin to see if he recommends a pop-up blocker program.

I usually recommend the Google toolbar to stop pop-ups. It also has some great searching tools built-in.

If you want to consider an alternative browser try Firefox. It has a built-in popup blocker, tabbed browsing, it's faster, and you're much less likely to get infected by spyware while using it. <_<
