just wondering if many people liked Macromedia Dreamweaver 8 and if they use it as their main web builder?

I like it and I use it (I have been using Dreamweaver since version 2.. lot's of changes since then).

I do most of my work in split view and use the code view quite often to clean the code up.

For someone starting out I think it's a good tool to see what the code looks like when you create something in design view. Makes understanding the code stick a little better IMHO.

The only real extension I use is the "Lorem and More" extension to add dummy text...

I have tried a few others but I don't like the extension to do all the work... makes it too easy to get lazy and have crappy, useless or bogus code in there...
