I know NTI has a burner program for mac and there is another software called Toast. I'll ask around to see if there is a mac/apple person available to help answer your question.

Fink ports unix apps over to the mac, including the mkisofs package

Might be a lot of work to do it

I think you can make the image with Disk Copy, and save it as a "CD/DVD Master". Pretty sure that is an .iso file.
