HELP! :tazz: I can't figure out why I have no sound coming from speakers. I thought it was bad speakers, so I bought new ones. That wasn't the problem! ;) I have ESS Allegro sound card installed. Please let me know what I can do to resolve this issue.
Thank You!

I am sorry, I think I answered in the wrong area to your reply, forgive, for I am new at this! :tazz: Yes, I did try the plugins on the speakers, I wish it would have been that simple!
Thank you for the reply.

Check out the Devices under Control Panel--->Systems---->Device Manager.

If there is a conflict shown or red mark then ur sound card or some driver may be at fault.

Also check out if you enabled the sound from sound icon in the taskbar.

In windows there is a taskbar on the bottom. Extreme right of your start button where the time is displayed. There is a speaker image displayed in it. If it's not there then surely you have not installed the sound card

Double click on that image to open its properties. If its working it will show all the volume controls, or may give a error message. Let me know of that message.

Hope it helps
