I want to create an icon that links to a specific Web page, and then be able to distribute it to others so they can put it on their Windows desktop and be able to click on the icon to get to the page. I want to be able to send it to them as an email attachment that they can drag or save to their desktop. I also want to be able to let them drag it from my Web page to their desktop. Can these be done? How? Thanks!

Dont you mean like an image that has a link on it on a web page?

Then you can download the image to your computer and put it as a shortcut on your desktop?

man, that's what bookmarks are for :whistling:

get some code that says something to the effect of "click here to bookmark this page"

then once its bookmarked, the user can leave it in the browser, or drag it out onto the desktop where it'll be treated as a shortcut to the web site
