I recently bought a Dynex router to netowrk my xbox w/my pc. I've been having a problem w/ xbox live ever since I connected my network. I am on XP sp2 and using a shark fin modem from comcast. I never had problems w/ my Xbox live until I decided to network it,instead of running it from my modem.

When you run a netowork does the modem change? The reason why I asked that is because I disonnected the cables on the router and ran XBL off of just my modem. I still had the same problem (disconnecting from game).

How would I be able to undo my network and have my pc back like it never happend? I am returning the router today and not installing another one.

When I goto properties on my network settings I see the LAC icon. I dont want to run a LAC anymore, just want to run one pc.

Thanks in advance.
