yeah weAponX, JUST the wallpaper.

did what you said, it's not locked up, Task manager has "been locked by admin"

moving the audit program to it, running it in safe mode.

will the START>RUN>MSCONFIG work from safe mode? or will it only tell whats going on in safe mode?

No: It will tell you what is going on for regular mode as well.

LOCKED by the Administrator? But you are the admin!

Ok, try this: restart the PC. Press F8 and go to Safe Mode: And LOG IN as Administrator.

Go to Control Panel, and look at USER ACCOUNTS. Under User Accounts, locate the User Name you normally use to log in as:

And open the profile up, and assign ADMINISTRATIVE privileges to that user. Cos you know what you just told us? (I say Us Loosely, cos I am not a bonafide Tech here, not yet anyway)

You told us that "The Admin" has locked that account out. I know I'd like to see more about this: I'm gonna step aside, let them know:

1) If you were able to assign Admin Privileges to your user name
2) If you were able to log in as the user after that
3) If you wre able to Ctrl-Alt-Delete into the Security Box after that.

When you can, you wanna start up in regular mode and hit that ctrl alt del and run Explorer, that should start you up.

I'll check back later, just tell these guys what is happening.
