Explorer Won't search anymore

ok this is interesting. i tried reinstalling the msn toolbar, and it says i have to uninstall the current toolbar. so i go to add/remove programs and click on remove for the tool bar, it says its removed and msn tool bar stays in the list. i try to reinstall the tool bar and it says i have to go and uninstall it. I checked in IE menu and the google toolbar is there and so is the yahoo toolbar. but the msn tool bar isn't listed. weird huh? what do you make of that?
