Any help would be appreciated on a technical question.

Downloaded SP2, installed and ran it. Two days later, it seemed to disappear from the system. When I tried to download again, the microsoft site showed me as initiating the download and then canceling it.

So, the download site wouldn't let me re-download.

The Security Center has reappeared in my control panel. I have no idea why, how, etc. But my head hurts when I think about it.

Should I uninstall, download and reinstall?? or should I wait and see what happens?

Thanks in advance for the input.

Click start then control panel, add / remove, tick show updates, look for SP2

If you have security centre you should have SP2

Keith:

Many thanks. I am very much a newbie and found that the Service Pack did install properly.

This resolves my question.

Again, thanks for the patience.
