I use the dial up connection on my laptop and I'm getting hit with trojans. I get gotya.exe and drupdate1.exe also get the lsass.exe error with the 30 sec shutdown. Spy bot and my virus checker correct them however not before the machine has slowed down to the point of needing it to be hard booted.

When using from a network its fine i'm guessing the network firewall is protecting it.

Then it would be a smart move to firewall the computer itself as well.
