A friend of mine just got an IBM laptop with fingerprint recognition on it, didn't even have a chance to set it up yet....Ok so the story goes, he went to bed, woke up to someone messing with it. He claims that he didn't mess with the recognition thing & he doesn't remember what he did to it. He then noticed that the hard drive seems locked, you can't do anything with it, it says that it is completely full. Could this have happened because the other person set up the fingerprint thing without knowing? Or is it something else that can be restored? Any help would be appreciated.

IBM security features are one of the best... unfortunately... at times! :tazz:

Please go HERE and create a post in the forum pertaining to the Thinkpad model. This forum is one of the best for Thinkpads. Hopefully, you will get an answer soon.
