Hi there,

I live in spain, but my internet connection is via ADSL so i assume it works basically the same as in england. I have connected an ethernet cable between my standlone and my laptop, and made a LAN connection in the hope of sharing my internet connection with the laptop. Everything seems to be set up correctly, i can ping both the client and the host and i can download things from a peer to peer program. The only problem is i have no access to the internet on the client. Can you please help me as i am at a loose end now and rapidly running out of ideas.

Thanks Wooza

hi thanks for the reply. but if your referring to the option to share in the advanced tab of network connection properties then i have already done that. If you mean something else then please tell me. I find it very strange that i can download things from peer to peer but cannot browse the internet.
