So it sounds like it booted up ok. I'll check Norton's website. They may have an uninstall utility for this.....

Nortons is still not uninstalling. I've made backups to all the necessary files. I'm leaning towards just loading Windows XP and trying to reformat.

It seems like it may have worked after the thousandth time. I guess Nortons is lucky that I couldn't get the hd reformatted. We shall see what will happen next. I hope this works. By the way, thank you very much for all your help this afternoon, Macten. It is much appreciated. You're the king.
