I am running an Win 98 and I would like to uninstall it and have the drives clear then install XP it anew. Is that possible? And if so how?

This will clear the drive, removing all data and programmes

Boot the PC and keep tapping the delete key until it enters set up, change the boot order to CD ROM then hard drive, press F10 to save then type Y to confirm and press enter, it will reboot, as soon as it starts to reboot, keep tapping F8 until you get options, choose command prompt only, when it stops at the conmmand prompt, type format c: then press enter, type Y to confirm data loss and press enter

When it completes, press enter for volume label, put the XP CD in the drive, press ctrl + alt + delete keys together, it will reboot, look for press any key to load from CD
