I have used external HD's for backup, but not Raid as yet on my Home PC. I have a 9 month old HP 7067, 3GHZ, MCE PC. I want to install an External Raid 1, using 2 SataII HD's. I have seen the Card that does this last week at Microcenter, BUT, it is a PCIe card, and my PC apparently only is PCI capable. I have searched the Net, but haven't found a PCI card that does Raid 1 External and SataII, like the SIIG E-SataII PCIe Pro Raid 0 & 1 card I found at Microcenter.

I know this is kind of new stuff, but is anyone doing Raid 1 external out there, and if so, what are you using to get the job done?

Thanking You,
