how much ram do you currently have in your pc now?

that 9250 would play cod2 but with everything on low settings pretty smoothly. If you put on medium it would run yes but will look like crap to me and other gamers in otherwords..

I would say go for the 512MB stick of ram so then you would have 768MB of memory in the pc and the game would run even better.. 1gb of total memory would be best but 768mb is better than 512mb is.

You dont need a 512Mb vid card those are serious money, something like an x700 would maybe be your best bet they are usually pretty reasonable pricewise and would manage medium settings reasonable well with enough ram.

it would work but i would suggest a better video card. By the way you can update the direct x on your system to 9.0c at anytime..

Just giving your proof the video card says.. Fully supports Microsoft® DirectX® 8.1, DirectX 9, and OpenGL®

I already know it will work but just giving you proof. That 9250 is a very very light gamers card so you would have to put every setting on the absolute lowest for it to run.
