A relative sent an E-mail with a .mov (video?) file attached. When I tried to open it, I was asked which program to use. I selected Windows Media Player and failed to uncheck the "always use this program" box. WMP produced a warning and sound but no picture.

What other program should I use, and how can I change the association so that opening this file occurs with the right program?

You need QuickTime / QuickTime player for .mov

Any of these will do that
