You might want to see if there are updated drivers for the printer and the IPod from the manufacturor's web stes.

Oh ya, been there, done that! :help: :blink: Problem is that the computer doesn't see them - it knows they get plugged in (the found new hardward wizard pops up), but for whatever reason they cannot be installed. When it gets down to getting the .inf file for the printer for instance, it fails. Totally weird. Both the printer and the iPod installed without incident on my laptop. :whistling:

Well, this is not going smoothly at all. Tried the Windows repair, and now I'm getting the blue screen of death every time during the repair. The error message is:
IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal
The stop info is: 0x0000000A (0x00000015, 0x000000002, 0x804EF631)
