when i turn it on it goes to a black screen and says

searching for boot record from floppy...not found
" " cdrom...not found
" " ide-0...ok

so i did a little bit of google and i "found" out that it could be something to do with a missing hd file, so i googled some more and "found" ut i should try a boot disk so i downloaded the file and put it to a floppy and now i get this msg..

searching for boot record from floppy...ok

non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready.

im ultra confuesed please help :tazz:

Hi customcomp...

Sounds like the Boot Disk wasn't created correctly. Download This Version to your desktop. Double click the downloaded file and put a fresh floppy disk in the drive when prompted to do so. Then use it to boot the machine.

At the options screen, press Shift + F5 to get to command prompt. At the A:\ prompt, type fdisk /mbr and press "Enter". This will replace the Master Boot Record. Remove the disk and try to boot normally.
