Sound Not Working

Well my sound sort of works o_o If I restart my computer, then the sound won't work. I have to go to Control Panel then Printers and Other Hardware then Add Hardware and install a new device. Does anyone know how to fix this? :tazz:

can you give more info. like what version of Windows you use, whether the sound is onboard or PCI, maybe a make/model of the soundcard.
