OK I don't know what happened but the titles re-appeared this morning when she turned her computer on.
If it happens again I'll repost

My roommate has an hp desktop w/PIII, XP Home, 2.7ghz processor. AVG, Win firewall, Microsoft anti-spyware, xsoft spy, ad aware se.
Her problem is the text box below the thumbnails is missing. If you hover over the thumbnail the description baloon appears like it's supposed to. I told her to restore to an earlier date but it had been turned off when she ran Stinger due to a request from Comcast cable saying we were sending unsolicited emails (sons computer WinME, no firewall or antivirus. Fixed).
She got her computer from ebay which had been refurbished but it didn't come with a repair cd.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
