Ok, thanks in advanced to anyone with any suggestions.
When shutting down the computer, Windows XP Pro SP2 the computer will not automatically turn off. Instead I get the screen telling me it is safe to shut down my computer. When I press the power button nothing happens. I have to actually hold in the power button for 5 seconds to shut off the machine. Is there a setting that can be changed, or cna someone help me figure out the hardware to fix in order to fix this issue? Thanks a lot in advance.

Your computer may not be ACPI compliant or something may be set-up incorrectly.
