I have alot of processess running in the background and I was wondering if they are all legitamate. Some of them are the same things running multiple process for instance I have one named svchost.exe listed 4 times is this normal? Please help?

Multiple svchost.exe is normal. You could have a peek here blackviper it will explain things in alot more detail than I could here and will help you learn more about, and how to tame, your OS. :tazz:
