Yeah its better but not by much, all you do with the DVIs is use a VGA DVI adpater that comes with most graphics cards and monitors.

Itll be fine, i would still shop around see if you can get a cheap 19" 8ms but if you cant that as good a 17" as your gonna get. Really the DVI VGA factor isnt a massive difference, its a nice extra if youve got the cash but otherwise its not worth much attention when looking at monitors.
