Im having a few weird probelms with Mcafee Security Center and Mcafee Virus Scan.

It loads fine on my systems boot, but as soon as I try to "open" it from the tray, all I get is a white screen, like it is not responding.

It sits like that endlessly. Sometimes it closes when I click the "x", sometimes it wont.

I get the same screen when I try to uninstall from add/remove programs, and even when I insert the origiona install CD and try to re-install!

Any Ideas?

Thanks so much!

Probably a silly idea, but I have seen a similar case with SpywareGuard once:

Hope it helps.

I really appreciate your reply.

Unfortunatly, that did not solve my problem. I now have pretty much ruled out anything theme/color related as the source of the problem.

Thanks! Any other ideas?

Thank you very much Metallica. That wwasnt exactly my problem but it led me to figure it out. I did not realize that mcafee relied on IE so much. I recently installed IE 7 Beta just to have a look, and being as i never use IE, never uninstalled it. Appparently IE 7 BETA is not yet supported. :whistling:

Thanks again.
