I'm experiencing some killer keyboard lag. Does anybody have any suggestions as to how I can make it go away? It's becoming a real pain...

Hi,

Try another keyboard if its a ps2 then try a usb to see if anything changes.

Scan for spyware and viruses

does the computer have any other noticible problems?

I'm using a laptop, so the keyboard is built in. the autoexec.nt file occasionally dissappears from my windows32 folder as well, and this started to happen around the same time I noticed the lag. I've scanned for viruses, but I couldn't turn up a thing, although hijackthis found in program files called windows adstatus/winstat.exe which can't be erased.
