Hey

I have a Dell Latitude CPi D233ST. I have used fdisk and cleaned up my hard drive. There is nothing on it. I set in the BIOS of the computer to boot up from the CD ROM first Diskette second, and Internal HD third. I put in the Diskette and CD I have tried both and it gives me: Invaild system disk Replace the disk, and press any key

Take the floppy out and let it boot from the CD ROM, you should get the choice to load from the hard drive or load from the CD ROM

I have done that I have tried doing it from the CD-ROM and everything, it just says Invalid System Disk. It is a Dell computer, do I have to have a special disk from them to do it?

Other than changing the boot order to CD ROM then hard drive, it should boot from the CD

I made in the BIOS, the CD-ROM first, Internal HD second. I put in the Windows 98 disk. After that I exit and save BIOS restart and I get...

Invalid system disk
Replace the disk, and then press any key

Thats all I get....anything else??

The thing with your first post is the boot order should have been floppy drive first, set it to that and boot the PC with just the diskette in
