Can someone please let me know how to give a user calendar access to all user calendars. Can that be set globally?

Must be an easy way for this other than going to each users calendar and granting permission.

Using windows server 2000 exchange server 2000 Outlook 2002.

In Outlook Calendar, click Help, then search for "Group schedules".

About group schedules
The Calendar group schedule makes it easy for you to see the combined schedules of a number of people or resources at a glance.

You can create and save multiple group schedules, each showing a group of people or resources. For example, one group schedule might contain all employees in a department. Another group schedule might contain all conference rooms in a building. A group schedule can include all of the contacts or resources from a public folder.

If I want the receptionist to view all calendars in her outlook and make changes to those calendars do I have to get permissions from each calendar user? How can I go into a users account to add permissions to their calendars. Is there a way with AD or exchange server ?

Yes I went there. but that is not what i want. I want to be able to goto

FIle/open/other user folder

select a name from address book.

Without going into each users outlook and giving permission before accessing. Is there a administrators function to do this?

You have to add the permissions separately I believe.
How to open another user's calendar or another folder in Outlook 2002

You might want to consider a shared calendar: How to share an Outlook 2000 calendar by using Net Folders

There may be a way to globally set user permissions from the server of an intranet - a network admin function using a deployment wizard? However I believe the IT department woiuld set these up one by one when installing.

I suggest you contact Microsoft.
