I'm just getting into the web design bis and i need to buy my own computer , i need to know what the best computer to use. Be it a MAC or whatever, i'll be using it to create web sites on a large scale, and also be burning DVD's. I would like to use A CPU of 3.0 or better and have at least 1 gig of RAM, and 160gig harddrive or better. I have a price range of $1000 to $1,500.

I have no idea what would be good so if someone could help me.

This is my first time posting
