no address bar in IE

Im a relative beginner to pcs but am having difficulty browsing with IE at the moment. Theres no address bar visible at the top, and I cant type in any site location etc. I have checked View/Toolbars and Addrress bar is ticked but no matter what I do I cant make it appear.

Help!

No, just the very top blue bar of IE disappeared. This is a mystery

Just a question.. can you still see the Start of the Address Bar where it says address?
