unable to delete unwanted file

i cant delete a file installed. when i press delete it just doesnt delete :S

i have tryed so far....

aver wipe and delete
gipo move on boot
run/command/del file etc...

can any1 help me please??

Hey there sl8a, it is possible the file you are wanting to delete is in progress.

Goto:
> Start
> Run
> Type in "tskill *"

Your explorer and most things will end, then try delete the file. If that doesnt work, use Task Manager to see all process. Then end the process that is linked to the file.

it is a .mpeg file

when i right click on it the options are ....

When windows will not let me delete a file I use a handy little program called Unlocker

Click start, all programmes, Unlocker, start unlocker assistant

Did you reboot after installing Unlocker?

Hey there, you still havnt told us the full file name. What is the File name (eg. john.mp3) I know its .mpeg exactly what file.
