Hey, everybody

Malware was ruled out by the nice folks in the other forum. Here is a link to that thread:

http://www.geekstogo...ns-t103557.html

Basic problem: I have a Dell laptop computer that is connected to a number of devices (wireless keyboard and mouse, monitor, etc.). During some Beyond TV recordings (similar to TIVO) and virus/spyware scans, my Logitech wireless mouse freezes...followed by my laptop slowing down and CPU usage jumping to 100%...This screws up my recordings, and I have to manually move the arrow by opening up my laptop. Additionally, I have to re-start my computer to get things working properly again.

Any help you guys can provide would be much appreciated... :-)
