getting this error, machine is windows xp media center edition, .99gb ram, 2.79ghz, p4 3ghz processer

the instruction at "0x100514cc" referenced memory at "0x00000000". the memory could not be "written." click on ok to terminate the program... click on cancel to debug the program.

im getting it when running ad-aware.

regardless of whether i click cancel or ok, the machine reboots itself.

please help!

Right click the adaware se desktop icon, click properties, click compatibility, tick turn off advanced text services, click apply

OR

Use add / remove to uninstall it, run disc clean up, download and install a fresh copy
