Booting and Startup

First I start My Computer and it Boots up fine and I click which user I would like and once its fully started up it just closes down and restarts again and goes right back to the screen where I click for the username!! Sometimes it may even let me open a window or 2 and within a minute it restarts on its own.
What can i do and what causing this problem???? Help ME!!!
