Hi, I have seen the veriables under set in cmd, trouble is a can't just copy them like a normal text, what do I do.

Right click in the command window, choose "Select All", hit Enter, and then just go to wordpad or wherever and paste.

Thanks, so what I cannot do is copy part of that, has to be all and I notice I can't use the crtl a hotkeys for select all too. Thanks.

yeah...the cmd window is an all or nothing deal...and ctrl A wont work because the cmd window is a dos emulator..and you can't do ctrl a in dos

not sure if this would help, but if you're looking to pipe the output of a specific command, they can be redirected to a text file of choice.

c:\> ipconfig/all >> output.txt
