Bump

I apoligize but other people that have posted after me are getting a reponse, and I'm not. This is an emergency, and any help would be much appreciated.

Being in GeekU, you should know better than anyone that bumping your thread doesn't get you help any quicker. :whistling: Most people wait up to three days for a reply. The only reason ppl who posted after you are getting replies may be due to one of several reasons:
1. The Staff member replying to them may be more "comfortable" with those infections than they are with ones that could be in your log.
2. There could be "new" infections in those newer logs that staff members want to get copies of files right away
3. etc. There are many different reasons we each reply to logs in the order that we do. NONE of them involve intentionally overlooking anyone, I can guarantee you that.

Please be patient. Someone will help you as soon as they can. Meanwhile, why don't you use your training and the resources available to you in GeekU to get yourself started with some online scans and/or Ewido, etc. Did you follow all the steps in the "You MUST start here before posting a HijackThis log"???

What exactly are you looking for, and why is it an emergency?? There's nothing 'bad' appearing in that log. :whistling:

You should uninstall SpywareBegone. It is a Rogue anti-spyware product, as found HERE

Well my computer is infected with some trojan horses, and I haven't been able to get rid of any of them.

What trojan horses? How do you know this?? Not trying to be rude, but I need more information. :whistling: The hjt log looks ok, but you state you are definitely infected. What told you you are infected, and what exactly did it say??

Norton Antivirus told me I was infected with a Virus called "Trojan.LowZones", and a window popped up that said Virus Alert High Risk. It also said the file was automatically deleted, but if that's the case why come everytime I try to press the OK button, the window keeps popping up?

ok. Let's run a couple of scans to be sure. :whistling:

1. Please go HERE to run Panda's ActiveScan
  • Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
  • A new window will open...click the Check Now button
  • Enter your Country
  • Enter your State/Province
  • Enter your e-mail address and click send
  • Select either Home User or Company
  • Click the big Scan Now button
  • If it wants to install an ActiveX component allow it
  • It will start downloading the files it requires for the scan (Note: It may take a couple of minutes)
  • When download is complete, click on My Computer to start the scan
  • When the scan completes, if anything malicious is detected, click the See Report button, then Save Report and save it to a convenient location. Post the contents of the ActiveScan report
2. Please download WebRoot SpySweeper from HERE (It's a 2 week trial):
  • Click Download Now to download the program.
  • Install it. Once the program is installed, it will open.
  • It will prompt you to update to the latest definitions, click Yes.
  • Once the definitions are installed, click Options on the left side.
  • Click the Sweep Options tab.
  • Under What to Sweep please put a check next to the following:
    • Sweep Memory
    • Sweep Registry
    • Sweep Cookies
    • Sweep All User Accounts
    • Enable Direct Disk Sweeping
    • Sweep Contents of Compressed Files
    • Sweep for Rootkits
    • Please UNCHECK Do not Sweep System Restore Folder.
  • Click Sweep Now on the left side.
  • Click the Start button.
  • When it's done scanning, click the Next button.
  • Make sure everything has a check next to it, then click the Next button.
  • It will remove all of the items found.
  • Click Session Log in the upper right corner, copy everything in that window.
  • Click the Summary tab and click Finish.
  • Paste the contents of the session log you copied into your next reply.
3. Post a reply here with the full contents from BOTH logs when you are finished.

Please note..I am headed off to bed now. I have to get up in 7 hours, but I WILL check in on you in the morning before I go to work. :help: It will take awhile to run these scans tonight, anyway. :)
