Recently, when shutting down my computer it always has to wait to end the "DDE Server Window" before it can shut down. I can tell it to end it to speed the shutdown up, but somtimes I don't catch it. Does anyone know what this is and if I need it? Also, if I don't need it, how do I remove it? I'm running Win2K. Thanks for the help.

Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), you could ask if their hotfix is applicable
