vbscript advertisement register cleaner popup

I have a Compaq that a ad popup (vbscript advertisement regester cleaner) When I hit yes it carries me to a register cleaner web sites. this popup occurs online or off line If I hit no it leaves but shows back up at random times. I have a hyjack log but befor I post i was wondering in someone has any ideas to get rid of. I tried uninstaller program they did not find anything. I have uninstall every program i think to could have come from. Ran spybot spy adware have antivirus software.

Posting the hijack this log in the malware forum is your best bet of getting rid of it. Make sure you follow all th recommendations before posting a log. If you haven't seen them, here they are. :blink: Good luck. :whistling:

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and post your log as a new topic in the Hijack This forum. It will get a better response there from the people most qualified to analyze logs.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.
