I NEED HELP WITH WIN 98 NTKERN.VXD AND CONFIGMG.VX

;) i have win 98 on a partion of my hdd and when i try and install my modem it installs fine it just cant load because it cant find ntkern.vxd and configmg.vxd i have done a search for these and they arnt on my computer at all some1 please help :tazz:

START->RUN "sfc" select "extract file" from Win 98 install CD. File to extract NTKERN.VXD. Extract this file to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM and C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VMM32.

Repeat process for CONFIGMG.VXD
