Just recently my usb ports don't seem to be working. I have tried updating and reinstalling the drivers but to no avail. Can anyone help.

Do you have SP2 (Service Pack 2)??? Try installing SP2 and see if the problem persists. Your problem should be fixed by SP2.

I don't have SP2 , I have a old computer which runs on windows 98, can I install SP2 on this.

Oh, you have 98??? Nope cant install "Windows XP Service Pack 2" on there. I was looking at your specs and it said XP, and this is in the XP forums.
Ok, this topic will be moved shortly to the 98 forums. From there someone will help you out. I unfortunatly only have a limmited amount of knowledge about Win98.
