Thanks alot Sam, computer seems to be happy again. I am now gonna download spybot and spywareblaster and hopefully wont run into a problem like this again. I went back and already and changed the settings back in my computer which i had changed to view hidden files but can i go ahead and delete HiJackThis and the other programs i downloaded thru this post? Thanks again for your help
