After running the 3-27-06 definition of AdAware ... Rivarts.A is no longer detected by Windows Defender!?!? Windows Defender was the ONLY program (of many) that ever detected it.

Did I ever have it? Or was Windows Defender a false positive?

I was going through the "before you post Hijack This" list and Rivarts.A didn't show after the Clean-UP restart, but it was there after the next restart. It was there after installing and running 1.14.1358.2 definition of Windows Defender, but hasn't shown up in 3 restarts after running AdAware 3-27-06.

I've noticed some pointing at SpywareDoctor being the problem ... I do run SpywareDoctor, and cannot remember for sure, but don't think SpywareDoctor was updated during the above ... it WAS updated last night after Rivarts.A no longer showed up in Windows Defender.

I'm wondering if I ever had it ... or worse if I STILL have it.
