I get very frustrated when I try to uninstall programs. It seems there are often parts of the program left behind. An example is Zone Alarm, every time I think I have gotten rid of it, one day it pops up again. I went to find files and deleted through there. So not sure if it is finally gone or not. I am not fond of finding files that way and getting rid of them as I got rid of stuff I shouldnt have before and had to get help to get the files needed to run windows back. Is there another way to find if any of a program is left behind. Also do I have to keep all the windows updates in my add and remove, there ends up being so many. Thanks again for any help.

The updates need to stay in add / remove

If you delete files, leave them in the recycle bin until you have rebooted a few times at least, so you can check the PC is running properly

If space is not a problem then you can leave anything you delete in the recycle bin
