can you boot to safe mode or safe mode with command prompt?

no I only get a c prompt and nothing I type in works. I know the drive is in there just hidden and I can't get to it.

this is why programs like this are dangerous...one false move and WOOPS....you have absolutely no system disks whatsoever? is that because the computer didn't come with them or because you lost them? what kind of computer is it? how attached to your data and programs are you?

when I got the computer it was just that no disks or anything. I am pretty attached to my programs seeing as how I don't have anyway to reinstall them, (no disks) I just hopt there would be a way to unlock the secrecy file without having to go into windows. Like accesseing the program from dos or something

well....when you get to the c: prompt that you get...type dir /p does anything show up?

i googled the software and i can find downloads of it but no support info except for their email address [email protected] shoot them an email and see what they say

i emailed them as well to see what happens....
at the cprompt that you get to type
%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and tell me if the system restore utility comes up (god i hope it does cuz i just got a non-deliverable response from that email addy)

well I tried typing in %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe at the c prompt and it said it was a bad command or file name so maybe I did something wrong

at the prompt type
cd windows <press enter>
cd system32 <press enter>
cd restore <press enter>
rstrui.exe
cd windows <press enter>
cd system32 <press enter>
cd restore <press enter>
