type attrib window~{21 (no -r or -h...) tell me what the output is...

should just say
c:\window~{21

if it didnt modify the attributes then it will say

H C\window~{21

if it says the first one then type

ren window~{21 window~

grrr....just on the off chance that it works...can you reboot the computer and see what happens?...LOOKS like we've got the file unhidden...the problem now..is that..for whatever reason the folder is locked (no pun intended)...probably by the OS itself running there....

when I load the computer it still does the same I was however able to catch a glimps of the lines that pass by before the screen says there is a registry/configuration error. It says that

the following files are missing or corrupted c:\himem.sys
the following files are missing or corrupted c:\dblbuff.sys
the following files are missing or corrupted c:\ifhlp.sys

the high memory area is not available

there was some more but it went by to fast for me to read it

see that's the problem..the program sucks...IF you hadn't hidden what you hid....you'd be able to crack this thing in 2 minutes tops....the problem is comming from WHAT you locked...being the whole drive...this EASY way out isn't doing what i want so we're gonna take this back to where we should be going...the UBCD...let me get some instructions on burning a bootable iso with nero..do you know what version is installed on the computer you're using?
