Hi neo-noel :whistling:

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file) is a leftover from Mcafee

Please create a directory on your C:\ drive called C:\HJT, download and unzip HijackThis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on.

Please do an online scan with Kaspersky WebScanner

Click on Kaspersky Online Scanner

You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
  • Now click on Scan Settings
  • In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
    • Scan Options:
    Scan Archives
    Scan Mail Bases
  • Click OK
  • Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
  • This will program will start and scan your system.
  • The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
  • Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    • Now click on the Save as Text button:
  • Save the file to your desktop.
  • Copy and paste that information in your next post.

Hi neo-noel :whistling:

Please create a directory on your C:\ drive called C:\HJT, download and unzip HijackThis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on.

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {BA52B914-B692-46c4-B683-905236F6F655} - (no file)

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked

Using windows explorer( right click start, left click explore)
Search for and delete these files and folders

C:\Documents and Settings\my computer\My Documents\My Downloads\attacker
C:\Documents and Settings\my computer\My Documents\My Downloads\attacker.zip
C:\Documents and Settings\my computer\My Documents\My Downloads\boping
C:\Documents and Settings\my computer\My Documents\My Downloads\boping.zip

This file you mention A:\SETUP.EXE PHASE2 startup would appear to be on a floppy .

Can you go to start>>>run and type in msconfig
Click the startup tab at the top right and check all of the boxes.

reboot and post a new Hijack logand an uninstall list which can be made like this

Open HijackThis, click Config, click Misc Tools
Click "Open Uninstall Manager"
Click "Save List" (generates uninstall_list.txt)
Click Save, copy and paste the results in your next post.

And any more info on the floppy drive problem

Thanks
