Bought a corportate Latitude CPx laptop. They removed operating system. I bought 2000 Pro to put on it. But cannot get it loaded.

No bootable devices I have went into set up and set for cd rom

You pressed F10 to save, typed Y to confirm afterwards and are then booting with the 2000 CD in the drive?

F10 key does not work. F2 into setup alt P to second page esc to exit hit yes and come up no bootble devices

Also if I shut unit off and power on it comes up Diskette drive 1 seek failure
No boot Sector on hard disk
No bootable devices

Go back to look for the key to save the change and then you should be able to type Y to confirm

OK went into set found that set up show it as a CPt C500GT Must use esc to get the Y or N Hit yes and still does not boot
