ut2004 64 bit version

I have windows x64. I got ut2004 and installed it onto my comp. I went to play on one server and it told me i needed a certain patch. I clicked on the website the game provided, which was http://amd64download....com/ut2004.asp. Then I unzipped and followed the intstructions in the .txt file. When I click the ut2004-64 bit .exe file I get a screen similar to the 32 bit mode one but then it vanishes and then nothing happens. I am back to my desktop. I have an amd x2 4400+ processor, ati x1900xt gfx card. I have the latest drivers for all my hardware. Just to mention, I can play 32 bit mode ut2004 just fine. Any solutions to my 64 bit problem?
