Epson stylus C80 printer not printing

I just put a new ink cartidge in the printer and now the paper button as well as the power light is blinking and will not print. I have installed a new driver and checked to make sure paper is not jammed. Also, it won't let the ink cartridge carriage move when I push that button. Any suggestions? Thanks
